Our infrared LED's cover five wavelengths: 1.8, 2.8, 3.3-3.8, 4.2 and 4.8 micron.

These wavelengths match the dominant absorption wavelengths for water, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

Combining the technologies of high frequency pulsed infrared LED's and infrared detectors, LMS offer a family of optical cells for measuring water, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide with a concentration range from 10ppm to 100%. LMS supplies all options: separate LED's / detectors, LED's and detectors inside an optical cell or complete packages with digital outputs.

An Optical Cell Evaluation Kit (OCEK) with connection to a PC via RS 232 port is also available.

Our OCEK includes:

  Gas cell.

  Embedded microprocessor.

  Analogue / digital circuits.

  IBM PC-compatable software.



OCEK advantages:

  Infrared LED's can be pulsed at high frequency for optimising signal-to-noise ratio and power consumption.

  Narrow bandwidth LED's eliminate the need for filters.

  Evaluation Kit accepts pyroelectric, photoconductive and photovoltaic detectors.

  Optional thermoelectric controller with PC control for easy evaluation of Peltier cooled emitters and detectors.
